PDF compressor
Compress PDF files without uploading private documents
PDF Shrink is built for contracts, scans, IDs, and other files you do not want to hand to a random server.
What this page is for
Most online PDF compressors ask you to upload a file first. PDF Shrink takes the opposite route: compression should happen on your device when possible.
Current product path
- The iPhone app compresses PDF files offline.
- The app requests no network permission.
- The App Store release is being prepared from the current TestFlight build.
Browser compression status
We are testing browser-only PDF compression locally. The public tool reads files in your browser and shows an engine plan before a license-safe compressor is wired.
Best uses
- Reduce scanned PDFs before email upload limits.
- Shrink invoices, forms, and contracts for sharing.
- Keep sensitive documents local instead of uploading them.
